With the mission of "innovating traditional calligraphy and painting and engaging in dialogue with global civilization", Benyuan Painting and Calligraphy Academy actively responds to the national strategy of building a cultural power by 2035. Relying on the high-quality resources of the China Art Festival Foundation and Columbia University, and based on core sectors such as art exhibitions, academic research, brand collaboration, and digital innovation, it creates a comprehensive platform that integrates artistic creation, cultural communication, and academic exchanges. With the dialogue of civilizations as a bridge, it builds a global communication system for Chinese art with "culture and art going abroad", allowing Chinese art to be deeply integrated into the grand picture of exchanges and mutual learning among world civilizations, and contributing solid strength to the continued expansion of the influence of Chinese culture.
Two major service agencies
The China Art Festival Foundation is a national public fundraising foundation under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China. It was registered and established by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China in September 1987 and officially started its work in August 1988. The founding chairman is Ying Ruocheng, and the first honorary chairmen are Rong Yiren and Zhou Gucheng. The current chairman is An Ran. The China Art Festival is held every three years. The Foundation will uphold the principles of public welfare, professionalism, service, openness and timeliness. The main activities and work content: In addition to funding and participating in the China Art Festival activities, it also organizes, supports and funds a large number of cultural activities in society; commends, rewards and cultivates many artistic talents; unites, drives and influences a large number of people of insight to engage in public welfare cultural undertakings and wins a reputation.
Columbia University in the City of NewYork, referred to as "Columbia", is located in Upper Manhattan, New York City, USA. It is a world-renowned private research university, one of the Ivy League schools, a founding member of the Association of American Universities, a member of the Global University Presidents Forum, and selected for the British government's "High Potential Talent Visa Program". Columbia University ranked 18th in the 2023 USNews National Comprehensive University Rankings, 7th in the 2023 USNews Global University Rankings, and 22nd in the 2023 QS Global University Rankings.
